Christmas Potatoes


As Christmas lunch is served with all of the trimmings, it just wouldn’t be the same without those delicious roast potatoes. Even better if you’ve grown them yourself and harvested them just before cooking, yes, even in December! Potatoes are low in calories and full of vitamin C and B6 along with having phytonutrients with antioxidant activity. Whilst they are starchy, they do have health benefits so throw caution to the wind, roast them up in fat or beef dripping and enjoy every single bite of a very traditional Christmas vegetable.
