Going back to my roots


As we head into the new year and just about over the indulgence of the festive period, its time to get healthy - as hard as that can be when it’s still cold outside and a hearty meal is preferable to a salad!

Root vegetables are still on the menu and one tasty vegetable so often overlooked is the delicious Swede. Harvested before they get too woody, they can actually be eaten raw or in soups and stews plus they pack a winter punch of goodness full of vitamins A and C along with Potassium, Calcium and Fibre.
